Serengeti vs Masai Mara: which is better?

They are one ecosystem split by the Tanzania–Kenya border. The Serengeti (14,763 km²) is about ten times larger than the Masai Mara (about 1,510 km²), so it feels wilder and less crowded, and it hosts the migration for most of the year. The Mara is compact, quick to reach and spectacular from August to October.

Northern vs southern Tanzania: which safari circuit?

The northern circuit — Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara — is Tanzania’s classic, with the migration, the crater and easy road links from Arusha. The southern circuit — Ruaha and Nyerere — is wilder and far quieter, with walking and boat safaris reached by light aircraft. First-timers usually choose the north; returning travellers fall for the south.

Tanzania safari and Zanzibar: planning the perfect honeymoon

The ideal Tanzania honeymoon lasts 10–14 days: five to seven nights on safari in two or three camps, then four or five nights on Zanzibar. Travel June to October or late December to February for dry weather. Fly between camps to save time, and plan one special moment in each part — a balloon flight on safari, a private dinner on the beach.

Your expedition begins with a conversation.

Tell us when you would like to travel and what moves you. A safari designer in Arusha will reply personally within 24 hours — with ideas, not a brochure.
